European Union regulations on Artificial Intelligence are now in place:
EU begins enforcing AI Act, putting AI models under the microscope
Europe’s fight to regulate AI models moved from paper to practice on 2 August 2026, when the European Commission’s AI Office and national authorities began enforcing the AI Act.

On the same date, new transparency rules took effect, requiring certain AI systems to tell users when they’re interacting with AI and when content has been generated or altered by it.
Under these rules, chatbots have to identify themselves as automated systems, deepfakes need a label, and machine-made or edited content must carry machine-readable marks so it can be detected automatically.
Companies that ignore these obligations risk fines of up to €15 million or 3% of their worldwide annual turnover, whichever is higher. …
These enforcement powers could add fuel to an already tense relationship between major U.S. companies like OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, and the European Commission, which has been pushing hard on tech sovereignty. …
“All providers of GPAI models must document certain information and provide it to competent authorities or downstream providers. They must also put in place a copyright policy and publish a sufficiently detailed summary of the content used to train their models,” the Commission explained. …
The European Data Protection Supervisor oversees compliance among EU institutions themselves.

On 2 August 2026, new rules on the transparency of AI systems take effect. … The new transparency obligations will help people recognise when they are interacting with AI or are exposed to AI-generated content, so they can make informed decisions and better protect themselves from misinformation or deception.
Transparency obligations for providers and deployers of certain AI systems
Marking and labelling of AI-generated content: certain AI-generated or manipulated content must be clearly and visibly labelled and include machine-readable marks. The EU has created a set of icons that can be used for this purpose. This applies toimages, audio, and video content that resemble existing persons, objects, places, entities, or events (deepfakes)emotion recognition and biometric categorisation toolstext published to inform the public on matters of public interest where there has been no human review or editorial control.Transparency when interacting with an AI system: Users must be clearly informed when they are not interacting with a real person, but an AI system, for example a chatbot, AI agent, and avatar.
The Commission has published guidelines to assist providers and deployers of AI systems in meeting these transparency obligations. From August 2, the Commission will be able to demand information from model providers, conduct safety evaluations, order corrective measures, pull models off the EU market and even impose fines of up to 3% of annual total turnover. The new mandate will place the EU at the global frontier of global AI safety regulation. …
The rules target providers of the largest general purpose AI models rather than the businesses that deploy those models downstream — an important distinction, according to Uuk. The threshold for models deemed to pose systemic risk is so high that only a handful of companies, such as the U.S.’s OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Alphabet, xAI and China’s Alibaba, ByteDance and Z.ai are expected to fall within scope. France’s Mistral is the only European model provider that should fall under the law.
Obligations under the AI Act for the largest, most powerful models are governed by Article 55 of the AI Act, which requires the companies to perform state-of-the-art model evaluations, assess and mitigate systemic risk, report serious security incidents and ensure appropriate cybersecurity protection. …

So, the EU has new rules, companies are warned to comply, and content creators are to declare AI content for many things. All to be enforced by the European Union.
Could AI as well as EU regulation be involved in the apocalypse?

The above is consistent with the coming 666 power during the Apocalypse (cf. Revelation 13:15-18). And the EU also wants to surveil the AI companies.

Digital Surveillance Increasing
Louis Rubin discusses the European Union’s Digital Service’s Act and the EU’s pushing centralized infrastructure having similarities to 666 of Revelation 13:15-18. He mentioned that the UK and Switzerland are also pushing a lot of digital matters, including the future inability to work in the UK without a digital identification card. He mentioned that Dr. Thiel warned that we would see steps towards this in 2025 and that Artificial Intelligence (AI) would likely also be involved. He mentioned that the ability to do digital surveillance was also being pushed by the United Nations (UN), World Economic Forum (WEF), the Bilderberg Group, Freemasons, and even the World Council of Churches (WCC).

The EU Has To Get Real If Europe Is To Matter In AI

The European Commission, the governing body of the European Union, announced strategies last week to boost AI usage and investment through an extraordinarily deceitful press release.
The lead paragraph trumpeted the strategies are “to ensure Europe stays ahead, driving adoption in key industries and putting Europe at the forefront of AI-driven science.”
By any basic, reasonable measure Europe is far behind the United States and much of the rest of the world when it comes to AI adoption as well as research and development…
The European Commission also announced it was investing €1 billion ($1.17 billion) to “harness AI’s transformative potential” across 11 major business sectors. …
By contrast, the Stanford report found Europe had $19.4 billion in private AI investment in 2024 compared with $109.1 billion for the U.S.
In the same news release, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, said:
“I want the future of AI to be made in Europe…

While the EU is behind in spending, notice that it intends to lead. Yet, whether or not it truly leads in this field, it has been my position for years that AI will be involved in the Apocalypse.
Why?
Because of biblical prophecies involving monitoring, censoring, and surveilling as well as steps that the Europeans have taken.
The prophet Amos was inspired to record the following:
11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)
AI will likely be used to reduce access to the word of the Lord.
The EU is looking to be able to monitor ALL chats (see European government efforts to surveil all messages and chats) and censor (see EU ‘Digital Services Act’ an Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth’? and European Union pushing globalist digital identification and internet censorship).

666, the Censorship Industrial Complex, and AI
We are seeing more and more censorship, particularly on the internet. Matt Taibi has termed the coordination of this from governments, academia, Big Tech, and “fact checkers,” the ‘Censorship Industrial Complex.’ Is more censorship prophesied to happen? What did the prophet Amos write in the 5th and 8th chapter of his book? What about writings from the Apostle Peter? Is the USA government coercing censorship in violation of the first amendment to its constitution according to federal judges? What about the Digital Services Act from the European Union. Is artificial intelligence (AI) being used? What about for the video game ‘Call of Duty’? Has Google made changes that are against religious speech? Has YouTube, Facebook, Twitter (X), and others in Big Tech been censoring factually accurate information? Is the US government using AI to monitor social media to look for emotions in order to suppress information? What is mal-information? Is a famine of the word of God prophesied to come? Will the 666 Beast and the Antichrist use computers and AI for totalitarian censorship and control?

We are getting closer to that day, with technologies unheard of when God inspired Amos and John to warn what would happen–like computers and AI–that the totalitarian Beast of Revelation will be able use during the Apocalypse to assist his 666 reign as well as enforce the coming ‘famine of the word’ of God.
Furthermore, notice number 14 from my list of 26 items to prophetically watch in 2026:

This type of financial surveillance could not have happened during the time of the Apostle John as there was no real way to monitor many financial transactions then (despite the fact that ‘preterists’ believe this was fulfilled almost 2000 years ago, see also The Dangerous Rise of Preterists). The same was true for all the centuries that followed until the late 20th and now the 21st century. But now not only does the technology exist to monitor most financial transactions, the political will is there as well.
It will be a European power that will fulfill the above prophecy of 666 (watch Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?).
It will likely take supercomputers aided with artificial intelligence to aid in the fulfillment of the scriptures in Revelation 13:15-18, as well as cyber-spying/monitoring. I do believe that cyber monitoring will be used by the European Beast, King of the North, 666 power. …
Look for more totalitarian steps to be proposed and/or implemented in 2026.
Yes, the EU’s AI regulations are being implemented in 2026. More totalitarian uses will be found.
AI will also be used more and more, to not only censor but to push various government narratives, whether true or not–in that way it will support aspects of the Apocalypse.
But as far as monitoring buying and selling, the European Union is pushing its digital euro (see EuroNews says most in Europe look forward to a digital euro, but others (as well as the ‘666 scripture’) see problems). This will allow for ‘666’ monitoring and control of buying and selling.
AI will likely also be involved.
In many ways, AI will be Apocalyptic.
