The senior Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps commander’s remarks came in a terrifying speech at the weekend.
Hosea was believed to have lived in the 8th century B.C. The name “Hosea,” means “salvation,” or “He saves,” or “He helps.”
Here is how the Book of Hosea starts:
1 The word of the Lord that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel. (Hosea 1:1)
Hosea is shown to have had a difficult time and was told to take harlots as wives. But he also had difficult messages …
US President Donald Trump told the world that he is pulling the USA out of the Iranian nuclear deal. Europe is not pleased and Iran hopes this will help drive Europe further from the USA (see Donald Trump voids Iranian nuclear deal: There is still a threat). Europe is upset and wants further distance from the USA (see AP: Trump’s pull out from Iran deal deepens US isolation).
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin began another term in office (see Vladimir Putin begins another term: How will he affect world events? Is he the ‘prince of Rosh’?). Some have been confused about Iran, Syria, Israel, and Russia from a prophetic perspective (see Iran, Syria, Israel, and Russia: Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Jeremiah).
On Sunday, the Hungarians re-elected Viktor Orban as their Prime Minister. Some see his victory as a sign that “strongmen” will rise up in Europe. At least one, called the Beast, will do so according to Bible prophecy (Revelation 17:12-13). Viktor Orban sees “sees himself as a defender of “Christian” Europe”.

It erroneously claims that ‘the fate of the world’ depends on the red heifer. Well, the fate of the world depends on God intervening to stop humanity from destroying itself (cf. Mark 13:19-20). That being said, the sermonette recommended for this Sabbath is related to this: Red Heifers and the Fate of the World.
Donald Trump’s announcement about imposing tariffs on steel and aluminum have shaken parts of the world and upset the Europeans. The Europeans have proposed retaliatory steps. We look to see the start of ‘trade wars.’ As most of you realize that subject was the cover article of the last edition of our Bible News Prophecy magazine. Here is a link to the: the January-March 2018 edition of Bible News Prophecy magazine.
The European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) are having difficulties in negotiating Britain’s exit from the EU (see Talks seem to suggest a relatively ‘hard’ Brexit). The EU has laid out a position that the UK says is unacceptable as it interferes with its sovereignty (see EU is Brexit ready, UK is not). Expect that the EU will remain upset with the UK, well after Brexit.
