The most controversial component is the cell phone mandate.
By July 2026, every mobile phone line in Mexico must be linked to a verified biometric identity.
Any number that is not compliant will be suspended.
That effectively removes the “optional” aspect of the system. …
At the same time, the globalist government is pushing a transition away from cash.
Digital payments are being expanded across:
Gas stationsHighway toll systemsRetail environments
Officials argue this will improve efficiency and reduce crime.
However, critics warn that it also increases the traceability of transactions and reduces financial anonymity.

I have long written that Mexico would be supportive of the coming European Beast power. This proposal is another move towards that as well as aspects of what could be called the globalist agenda that the Europeans have been pushing.
Last Fall, the Swiss (who are not in the EU) voted to implement digital IDs there:

As part of a broader campaign to expand its global influence in the digital era, the European Union has introduced a sweeping International Digital Strategy that leans heavily on centralized infrastructure, digital identity systems, and regulatory frameworks that raise significant questions about online freedoms and privacy.
The European Commission, in announcing the initiative, stressed its intent to collaborate with foreign governments on a range of areas, prominently featuring digital identity systems and what it calls “Digital Public Infrastructure.”
These frameworks, which have garnered widespread support from transnational institutions such as the United Nations and the World Economic Forum, are being marketed as tools to streamline cross-border commerce and improve mobility.
However, for privacy advocates, the strategy raises red flags due to its promotion of interoperable digital ID programs and a surveillance-oriented model of governance under the guise of efficiency.
According to the strategy documents, one of the EU’s objectives is to drive mutual recognition of electronic trust services, including digital IDs, across partner nations such as Ukraine, Moldova, and several Balkan and Latin American countries. This aligns with the EU’s ambitions to propagate its model of the Digital Identity Wallet, an initiative that privacy campaigners warn could entrench government control over personal data.

The fact is that things like digital IDs are leading to censorship which will also lead to the coming ‘famine of the word’ (cf. Amos 8:11-12).

24. Totalitarian Steps
The 13th chapter of the Book of Revelation tells about a totalitarian leader called the Beast rising up and controlling buying and selling (cf. Revelation 13:16-18).
But he does more than that. He and the Antichrist (also, verse 11, called the “beast coming up out of the earth”) also tries to control worship:
11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. (Revelation 13:11-15)
Since COVID, governments around the world imposed new limits on buying and selling as well as travel and worship. Never in the history of humanity have so many governments imposed so many totalitarian steps so quickly. And then there was the call from Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum (WEF) for a ‘great reset’ to change society–and it is basically a totalitarian society the WEF and others are pushing for (see Is a Great Reset Coming?). …
Participating in society includes the ability to use a computer, communicate, buy goods, and travel, to name just a few–and the EU’s Digital Services Acts can affect all of that and more.
The globalists want to be able to monitor who is buying or saying anything.
Furthermore, if there were to be carbon passports, that would likely be tied in with your purchases so you could be monitored by some official view of how much harm your purchases cause the environment.
This is helping set the stage for the rise of the Beast who will gain power after the 4th seal of Revelation (which is the ride of the pale horse of death) is opened.
George Orwell wrote a book titled 1984 which was a novel about a society where people were surveilled by their government and not allowed to see information that the government did not want them to. Such a society is basically being prepared.
Expect to see various new totalitarian steps implemented and/or proposed in 2026.
We are getting closer to the day, with technologies unheard of when God inspired prophets like Amos and John to warn what would happen–like computers, mobile telephones, and AI–that the totalitarian Beast of Revelation will be able use to assist his 666 reign as well as enforce the coming ‘famine of the word’ of God (Amos 8:11-12). Many nations are moving in that direction–and yes, that includes Mexico.
The use of digital IDs is a partial prelude to the coming ‘666’ controls the Bible prophesies in the following:
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18)
Governments and globalist organizations are pushing for the implementation of tools that will help fulfill biblical prophecies on censorship and totalitarianism.
The Bible teaches that the European Beast and his supporters will put in totalitarianism beyond what most believe is now possible (cf. Revelation 13).
He and his supporters will claim to help the climate, economy, security, etc., but that will not end up well (cf. Revelation 11:15; 18:1-20).
Digital integration systems are not the answer. A totalitarian system is coming.
The ONLY real solution for the problems facing humanity is repentance, the return of Jesus, and the good news of the coming Kingdom of God.
