The EU’s Digital Gulag Is (Apparently) Ready To Roll

“It is for parents to raise their children, and not the platforms.”
Those were the words of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Wednesday as she announced the readiness of the EU’s online age verification, ahem, platform. As we’ve been warning since November 2024, these platforms are ultimately a Trojan Horse for digital identity systems, which are in turn intended to serve as the cornerstone for the digital gulags being quickly assembled around the world.
What gets rarely mentioned in the public debate, including in Von der Leyen’s 11-minute speech below, is the fact that online age verification inevitable traps everyone, not just minors, in its web. “Protecting the children”, however, is always a seductive pretext for launching otherwise socially unacceptable policies. And there are few more socially unacceptable policies than the controlled death of online privacy and anonymity.
To save readers from having to stomach Von der Leyen’s sickly sweet presentation of the European Age Verification App, here is a summary of the main points ….
The app, VdL says, is necessary to make the online world safer for children — safer from online bullying, highly addictive content, highly personalised advertising, harmful and illegal content, and grooming from online predators.VdL claims to have herself “carefully listened to the parents, who do not have proper solutions to protect their children” whose concerns she shares. “It is”, she says, “for EU institutions parents to raise their kids and not for platforms.”To protect children from the dangers of the online world, the EU needs a “harmonised approach” — in other words, a “Europe-wide technical solution for age verification.” And the good news is that the European Age Verification app is “technically ready” and will soon be “available for people to use.”VdL likened providing proof of age to access online platforms to supermarkets asking young people for ID to purchase alcoholic beverages. What she doesn’t say is that people of all ages, even adults well into retirement age, will have to provide proof of age to access online platforms. That is a major distinction that doesn’t once get mentioned. Also, once this system is in place, users would not just momentarily display their ID like one does when buying alcohol. Instead, they’d have to submit their ID to third-party companies, raising major concerns over who receives, stores, and controls that data. …

Meanwhile, Brussels and Washington are imposing what amounts to starvation blockades on prominent individuals that have dared to challenge Israel’s genocide or Gaza or question the wisdom of the EU’s actions in Ukraine. They include the UN rapporteur on the Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, four International Criminal Court judges, the geopolitical analyst and former Swiss army colonel, Jacques Baud, and the pro-Palestinian journalist Hüseyin Dogru.
Their experience has a name: “civil death”. Their assets are frozen, access to banking services are blocked and the ability to participate in the official economy is almost completely paralyzed. The sanctions are imposed without prior judicial control and those affected are not given a legal hearing before they are listed. As in Kafka’s The Trial, once you get caught in the bureaucratic vice, there is no escape; it just keeps tightening.
On the one hand, governments and the corporations whose interests they serve want to digitise and tokenise everything, making us wholly dependent on digital platforms. On the other hand, they want to, and are close to, setting up internet controls governed by digital ID checkpoints that will strip away the very last vestiges of digital privacy and anonymity. 24. Totalitarian Steps
The 13th chapter of the Book of Revelation tells about a totalitarian leader called the Beast rising up and controlling buying and selling (cf. Revelation 13:16-18).
But he does more than that. He and the Antichrist (also, verse 11, called the “beast coming up out of the earth”) also tries to control worship:
11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. (Revelation 13:11-15)
Since COVID, governments around the world imposed new limits on buying and selling as well as travel and worship. Never in the history of humanity have so many governments imposed so many totalitarian steps so quickly. And then there was the call from Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum (WEF) for a ‘great reset’ to change society–and it is basically a totalitarian society the WEF and others are pushing for (see Is a Great Reset Coming?).
Over in Europe they are pushing for a digital identification which is expected to be used when you sign on, use your phone, buy anything, travel anywhere, etc. …
Participating in society includes the ability to use a computer, communicate, buy goods, and travel, to name just a few–and the EU’s Digital Services Acts can affect all of that and more.
The globalists want to be able to monitor who is buying or saying anything.
Furthermore, if there were to be carbon passports, that would likely be tied in with your purchases so you could be monitored by some official view of how much harm your purchases cause the environment.
This is helping set the stage for the rise of the Beast who will gain power after the 4th seal of Revelation (which is the ride of the pale horse of death) is opened.
George Orwell wrote a book titled 1984 which was a novel about a society where people were surveilled by their government and not allowed to see information that the government did not want them to. Such a society is basically being prepared.
Expect to see various new totalitarian steps implemented and/or proposed in 2026.
Instead of physical gulags, in modern times while there will be human informants, digital surveillance will be used. And, consider that Orwellian steps have been happening in Germany which the following video discusses:

Is Germany Becoming Orwell’s 1984?
In his novel 1984 George Orwell described a totalitarian government that controlled all aspects of human existence. “Big Brother is Watching You” was the reality of this government. George Orwell introduced “Newspeak”, a language that was designed to limit the range of thought. He also defined his concept of “Doublethink”, which is the ability to hold two contradictory beliefs at once and, yet accept both as reality. In 1984, the Thought Police were tasked with actually controlling what people can even think, let alone what they can say! EU to be ‘Sheriff’ of BitCoin & Digital Currencies
Will Bitcoin remain unregulated? The European Union does not think it should be and it released a paper titled “Proposal for EU Regulation on Markets in Crypto-Assets.” Christine Lagarde, president of the European Central Bank, earlier endorsed EU regulation of crypto and digital currencies. A Belgian declared that the EU was the “new Sheriff in town” to deal with the “wild west” of Bitcoin, blockchain, and other cryptocurrencies. The European Union now also has the European Public Prosecutor’s Office in operation, mainly to deal with financial matters? Will the Europeans end up controlling buying and selling associated with 666 in Revelation 13:16-18? Is Europe taking preliminary steps to do so now? Dr. Thiel address these issues.

We are seeing more and more censorship, particularly on the internet. Matt Taibi has termed the coordination of this from governments, academia, Big Tech, and “fact checkers,” the ‘Censorship Industrial Complex.’ Is more censorship prophesied to happen? What did the prophet Amos write in the 5th and 8th chapter of his book? What about writings from the Apostle Peter? Is the USA government coercing censorship in violation of the first amendment to its constitution according to federal judges? What about the Digital Services Act from the European Union. We are getting closer to the day, with technologies unheard of when God inspired Amos and John to warn what would happen–like computers and AI–that the totalitarian Beast of Revelation will be able use to assist his 666 reign as well as enforce the coming ‘famine of the word’ of God.Many nations are moving in that direction–and yes, AI is expected to be involved.
The implementation of a digital euro is a partial prelude to the coming ‘666’ controls. And that, combined with the European Public Prosecutor’s Office and German spying and other moves in Europe, will bring these things to pass.
