Dr. Thiel answers this question directly from the Bible, showing why God may seem silent and what Scripture teaches about those who diligently seek Him.
Some may feel God is silent, but Scripture shows the real issue is that most do not seek Him His way. Jesus warned that many honour God with their lips while their hearts remain far from Him, and that the path to life is narrow because people follow traditions, deception, family pressures, and lawlessness instead of God’s commands. The Bible teaches that the whole world is deceived, that even households can oppose true obedience, and that calling Jesus “Lord” means nothing without doing the Father’s will. God calls us to forsake our own ways, seek Him while He may be found, and pursue His higher ways. Jesus said to seek first the Kingdom of God, and Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that God rewards those who diligently seek Him, not those who want answers without obedience.
