In this sermon, Dr. Thiel goes over each and every verse in the Apostle Paul's letters (also called books or epistles) to Philemon. He provides some background on when and where they were written as well as certain ramifications of the teachings in those letters. Topics such as church services in homes, ecclesiastical authority, gentleness, good works, saying Amen, scriptural truth, binitarian Godhead, need to grow in grace and knowledge, celibacy policies of the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches, ministerial qualifications, scriptures pointing to Philadelphian Christians instructing many, volunteers/witnesses, divisive persons, false ministers, responsibilities for various groups (older men, older women, younger women, and younger men), being diligent, comfort & blessed hope, the kindness & love of God, salvation plan, supporting the work, and being fruitful.
