US President Donald Trump wants more direct support from NATO related to Iran, otherwise he seems to be threatening NATO:
Trump threatens NATO allies over Strait of Hormuz help

President Trump again urged NATO, China and other nations to help the U.S. secure the vital Strait of Hormuz.
On Saturday, Trump had called on China, France, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom and others to send warships to the key shipping route, which Iran has been blocking since the war and where about a fifth of the world’s oil supplies typically pass through.
None of the countries have publicly committed to Trump’s request — with some rejecting it outright — after the president upped the ante in an interview with the Financial Times late Sunday, saying their failure to do so would “be very bad for the future of NATO.” …
He said it was in these countries’ interests to help, including China, which is heavily reliant on the Strait of Hormuz for its oil supply. He also said the U.S. would “remember” if NATO counterparts didn’t help.
But foreign nations have reacted cautiously to Trump’s request. In his first term in office and since returning to the presidency, Trump has rattled NATO allies by expressing skepticism about the value of the postwar alliance, slamming them for what he says is low defense spending and threatening to pull the U.S. out.
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said Monday she had spoken to U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres about how to unblock the strait.
“It is in our interest to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and that’s why we are also discussing what we can do in this regard from the European side,” she said.
U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer rebuffed Trump’s demands, telling reporters on Monday he’s working with allies on a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but it won’t be a NATO mission.

The Europeans are very upset by rhetoric and policies from Donald Trump.

Donald Trump continues to rattle the Europeans. It is not that they do not want to assist in getting oil through the Strait of Hormuz, but they do not like 1) the difficulties there, which they blame Donald Trump mainly for and 2) the way Donald Trump “asks” and threatens them.

USA to leave NATO?
There are bills being promoted by US politicians in both the US Senate and the US House of Representatives to have the USA leave NATO alliance by 2027. There is also the new National Security Strategy report from the Trump Administration which looks to change NATO. Europe is offended, but is preparing for this to take place. How so? By taking economic (expanding trade relations) and military (by increased spending and added troops) steps And it is the military preparations by Europe that should most concern the United States. Dr. Thiel points out how the fragmented state of the European Union will lead to the reorganization of Europe (Revelation 17:12-13) which will ultimately bring about the rise of the prophesied King of the North (Daniel 11:39-43). Could a blitzkrieg type of an attack under the guise of a NATO-type exercise lead to the conquering of the USA? Scriptures quoted by Dr. Thiel point out that when this reorganization of Europe takes place the destruction and enslavement of the United States of America, the nation with the strongest fortresses, is not far behind. Daniel 8:23 tells us this King of the North understands “sinister schemes”. Could one of those sinister schemes be the destruction of the United States? Are there other scriptures that confirm this destruction? Who is Assyria? Who is Samaria? Who is Ephraim? The answer is surprising but makes clear many scriptures that were sealed until the time of the end. As the Iran war enters its third week, the United Arab Emirates is sending a clear message to European governments and citizens: stability in the region is closely tied to Europe’s own economic and security interests.
The Gulf has long been a critical partner for Europe in energy markets, trade and global shipping routes.
With tensions rising around the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s missile and drone attacks targeting the region, officials in Abu Dhabi say cooperation with European partners has become even more important.
Speaking to Euronews, UAE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lana Nusseibeh said European governments have been among the most engaged international partners since the crisis began.
“We’ve been in frequent contact with different governments around the world since this has started, but I would say the Europeans have been incredibly supportive,” she said.
According to Nusseibeh, that support reflects long-standing political and economic relationships between the UAE and Europe.
“Our trade ties with Europe at €65 billion a year are a robust signal that we are also open for investment,” she said.
Those ties are not only economic. More than half a million Europeans live and work in the UAE, making the crisis particularly relevant for European audiences.
“We take the safety and security of the 500,000 European residents who reside here incredibly seriously,” Nusseibeh said.
European leaders have been closely engaged with the UAE leadership during the crisis. Diplomatic contacts have taken place at multiple levels, reflecting concern in European capitals about the broader implications of instability in the Gulf.
The region plays a critical role in global energy flows and maritime trade, making disruption likely to have far-reaching consequences for European economies.
Nusseibeh said the UAE views its partnership with Europe as central to maintaining stability.

The 11th chapter of Daniel and the 83rd Psalm refer to deals that Europe will one day make with the Arabs.

83rd Psalm. Here is part of it, starting with verse 3, with some modern national identities from former Radio and Worldwide Church of God writers inserted using “{ }”[i]:
3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel {includes Jews as well as the descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh, meaning the British-descended peoples and the USA} may be remembered no more.”
5 For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: 6 The tents of Edom {Turks and possibly Afghanis} and the Ishmaelites {Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Libya}; Moab {part of Jordan} and the Hagrites {Syria}; 7 Gebal {Lebanon}, Ammon {Jordan, and perhaps the UAE}, and Amalek {part of the Turks}; Philistia {Palestinian Arabs} with the inhabitants of Tyre {Lebanon; perhaps also in part of Southern Italy}; 8 Assyria {migrated to Germanic Europe} also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot {Jordan and western Iraq}. (Psalm 83:3-8)
Nations like Tunisia and Algeria would also be expected to be involved, as well as those associated with the end time European Beast power.
The old Radio Church of God and Worldwide Church of God published the following related to that 83rd Psalm:
Notice an amazing prophecy about the Middle East in Psalm 83:1-8. It is a time of war. “Hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, Thine enemies … have taken crafty counsel against Thy people.” They have dealt treacherously with Judah and Israel — with the Jews and with America and Britain … Israel {Genesis 48:14-16}. The Jews are merely the tribe of Judah. …
So Germany … is ultimately going to support an Arab union against the Jews and against Israel — Britain and America! This is what prophecy foretells.[ii]
Here we see that the Arab nations mentioned are allied with Germany (Assur) which we know from other prophecies will be the military leader — naturally so — of a United States of Europe … This European power — called the “king of the North” in Daniel 11 [iii]
(Psalm 83) provides additional insight into the coming Mideast picture. Germany (Assyria in Bible prophecy) and perhaps the rest of Europe will be in league in the future with a union of Arab nations — a vast confederacy bound together in an effort to crush out the name “Israel” from the face of the earth! This Arab-Moslem confederacy may very well be the previously mentioned “king of the south” of Daniel 11 — a sphere of power encompassing vast portions of the Islamic world. …
But in the end, this European-Arab alliance will prove short-lived. … the “king of the north” of Daniel 11 — the leader of the German-led European union — will ultimately turn against the Arab “king of the south,” with disastrous consequences for the entire Middle East [iv]
Psalm 83 is talking about an alliance of predominantly Muslim peoples aligning with a European power to go against, according to the old Radio Church of God, the Jews of Israel, the British-descended nations, and the USA. Prophetic Assyria is connected to an end time power in Germany and Europe (cf. Isaiah 10:5-11).
That is consistent with the previously quoted hadith from Aouf Ibn Malik mentioning a truce.
Verse three of Psalm 83 states this confederation will have “taken crafty counsel,” which suggests that the plan may include military acts that could be considered as terrorism by some of the participants or supporters of the participants, as well as secrecy involving a planned attack. This deal will happen shortly before the start of what could be called WWIII (cf. Daniel 11:39; Matthew 24:21). Terroristic acts look like they will be employed—as terror is also specifically prophesied to occur if the descendants of Israel disobeyed God (Leviticus 26:14-16; Deuteronomy 32:25).

Yes, a deal with between the Arabs and the Europeans will one day end up badly for the USA.
That deal has not yet been made, but steps leading to it are occurring.
Not only will this not end well for the USA (Daniel 11:39; Isaiah 10:5-11), it will not for many Muslim countries (cf. Daniel 11:40-43), nor, ultimately, even Europe (cf. Daniel 11:45; Revelation 17:14).
