Iran continues to resist and fight back against the attacks by Israel and the United States:

Iran attacked American forces in the Middle East overnight, prompting Saudi Arabia and the United States to retaliate against a Tehran-backed militia in Iraq and shattering a period of relative calm raising the risk of a further escalation of the conflict.
Iran had suspended its attacks amid a renewed push to reach a deal with the U.S., but warned earlier this week that it would not allow Washington to dictate the “timing of war and peace,” while maintaining that the Strait of Hormuz was “closed.”
The sudden return of hostilities shattered the relative calm that had descended on Iran for several days after the U.S. paused daily strikes on the Islamic Republic in order to make room for peace talks. …
Andreas Krieg, a senior lecturer at King’s College London’s School of Security Studies, said Iran likely launched its “surprise” attack in a bid to “shape the negotiations through force, not because it had abandoned diplomacy.”

The IRGC said its air force targeted a US airbase and Central Command centre in Jordan, “with several ballistic missiles”.
“As long as threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran continue and illegal and vicious actions by American forces against our interests continue, the resistance will continue,” the IRGC said in a statement carried by Iran’s IRIB broadcaster.
Reporting from Tehran, Al Jazeera’s Resul Serdar said the latest escalation seemed like a “pre-emptive attack, not a reactionary measure”, from the Iranians. …
The Iranian attacks targeting US bases came as Trump was meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been pushing for war on Iran, in the White House.

Iran, whose leaders believe that they need to provoke chaos for the fulfillment of their prophetic understandings, looked to have attacked at least partially to do so and provoke a response.

US Air Force fighter jets and bombers flew from Israeli bases to attack Iran in recent weeks, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has said, highlighting Washington’s use of Israel as a launchpad for its widening regional war.
“The Iranians know” that the aircraft departed from Israel, Katz told the right-wing Israeli broadcaster Channel 14 on Tuesday.
“The arrogant empire that threatened to destroy Israel has collapsed,” he said.

The confidence that some Israeli’s have overlooks the fact that Israel’s capital Jerusalem is prophesied to have great damage done to it:
6 Elam bore the quiver With chariots of men and horsemen, And Kir uncovered the shield. 7 It shall come to pass that your choicest valleys Shall be full of chariots,And the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.
8 He removed the protection of Judah. You looked in that day to the armor of the House of the Forest; 9 You also saw the damage to the city of David, That it was great; And you gathered together the waters of the lower pool. (Isaiah 22:6-9)
Elam seems to be a reference to at least some in Iran. The old Worldwide Church of God published the following:

Israel may figure that it has the go-ahead from Donald Trump — especially if Jerusalem is greatly damaged — so it can go all-out to attempt to destroy the Iranian regime.

Some have suggested that “after socialism” may mean after communism falls, like it mainly did in the late 20th century. We are getting towards the end of this age right now.

China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are acting as a strategically aligned bloc even without a formal mutual-defense treaty, according to a new Foundation for Defense of Democracies book warning that their cooperation could leave the United States confronting multiple crises simultaneously.
The book, “Axis of Aggressors: Countering the Cooperation of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea,” examines how the four authoritarian governments support one another across military, economic, cyber and technology domains. …
“I just got back from a couple of weeks in Ukraine, and when I’m sitting in Ukraine, it’s really obvious to me that Ukraine is fighting Russia, North Korea, Iran and China,” retired Rear Adm. Mark Montgomery, one of the book’s three authors, told Fox News Digital.
Montgomery pointed to North Korean ammunition and troops, Iranian drones and production expertise, and Chinese economic and technological support for Moscow.
“China is backstopping the whole thing, providing the economic backstop to Russia’s economy so they can survive this four-year catastrophic event for Russia,” Montgomery said. “They’re providing microelectronics that we see in ballistic, cruise and hypersonic missiles.” …
Economic ties underpin the military cooperation, according to co-author Elaine Dezenski, who described the four-country economy as a “fractured alignment.” …
Dezenski also warned that China, Russia and Iran are developing payment systems outside traditional Western banking infrastructure. More trade is being settled in yuan through China’s Cross-Border Interbank Payment System, or CIPS, potentially reducing Washington’s ability to enforce sanctions through the dollar system.
“We need to really think about that sooner rather than later, before this alternative payment system becomes too big to tackle,” Dezenski said.
“We need to treat this axis as a threat, as a combined threat,” Montgomery said, “that will confront us in every one of our crisis areas.”

First of all, the USA sanctioned Russia, Iran, and North Korea and has basically cut them off from “traditional Western banking infrastructure.” China has also been threatened that way. So, it should come as no surprise that they are cooperating and developing a financial system that they can use.
And while many in the USA see them as the ‘axis of aggressors,’ USA led efforts have been a significant factor in their current cooperation. There are often unintended consequences to sanctions and other policies.
Be that as it is, the Bible tells of a Russian-led confederation of nations from Asia that will ultimately cause destruction to Europe (Jeremiah 50:41-43).
Their current cooperation is simply a prelude to that.
