Jesus prophesied:
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:7-8)
In Mark’s account, we see that Jesus prophesied troubles:
8 … And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. (Mark 13:8)
We have seen a lot of earthquake related troubles this week.

In 38 seconds on the evening of June 24, Venezuela experienced what seismologists are calling a rare “earthquake doublet” — two massive quakes striking nearly simultaneously, the strongest to hit the country in over a century. Within 24 hours, Japan’s northeastern coast was rocking from a 7.2 magnitude tremor.
The strongest event was a magnitude 7.5 earthquake about 28 km southeast of Yumare, Venezuela, at a depth of about 10 km, followed just 39 seconds later by a magnitude 7.2 earthquake. USGS issued a red PAGER alert for both events, meaning high casualties and extensive damage were considered probable.
The death toll is expected to climb significantly. The U.S. Geological Survey, using predictive modeling, estimates a 40% chance of between 10,000 and 100,000 casualties, and a 14% chance of exceeding that range. Meanwhile, a magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck Northern California on Wednesday morning — the region’s strongest since 1940 — near the agricultural town of Willits, about 140 miles northeast of San Francisco. This is the strongest earthquake to hit Venezuela in the past 125 years.

No, the increased number of seismometers has nothing to do with the devastation from the Venezuelan quakes. And no, the recent record heat in Europe is not the usual.
Now yes in my post, I quoted Jesus. The death toll in Europe was high and in Venezuela it continues to rise.
So, yes, consistent with the prophecy from Jesus those Venezuelan quakes as well as heat in Europe brought troubles.
Furthermore, we have seen earthquakes in various places as Jesus also prophesied in Matthew 24.
Sadly, the webmaster at the Banned by HWA website often wishes to be blinded to the truth as another post he made about me was exposed his false statements (see Banned from the truth and painful lies: Anti-COG sites put out false statements to slander Bob Thiel). Yet, he and other anti-Christian deceivers continue to pour forth lies, consistent with prophecies for the last days by the Apostle Paul who warned that “evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13).
The prophet Isaiah warned of those:
10 Who say to the seers, “Do not see,”
And to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things;
Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits. (Isaiah 30:10)
Sadly, many at the Banned by HWA website are like that.
The anti-Christian comments at the Banned site also brought the following to mind from the Apostle Peter:
1 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation (2 Peter 3:1-15)
Just as the Apostle Peter prophesied, there are scoffers who declare that what has been going on is normal and not prophetic.
As regular readers of this page are aware, I have repeatedly warned of weather problems coming. Back in 2009, in my book, 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect, I wrote that the following was about to happen:

Since that was published, we have had record smashing heat and odd weather problems.

Europe is being hit by record-high temperatures in a heatwave that is expected to last for a further two weeks across the continent.
The heatwave hitting Spain has caused 327 deaths since last Sunday, 21 June, according to the Spanish Health Institute Carlos III.
The country has experienced record-breaking June temperatures, with several national and local records broken during the heatwave. …
The worst anomalies were recorded in northern Spain, where Bilbao Airport set new records for both daytime highs and overnight minimum temperatures.

These weather issues should serve as a wake-up call.
The Bible is clear that God controls the weather and various calamities, but wants people to heed His prophets:
6… If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it?
7 Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:6-7)
The Bible tells of weather-related blessings for obedience and weather-related curses for disobedience. Weather is not as random as many people seem to want to believe.
The Bible warns that God uses weather to send a message. Sometimes God uses drought and then sometimes sends mildew if people will not turn to Him as the following show:
7 “I also withheld rain from you,
When there were still three months to the harvest.
I made it rain on one city,
I withheld rain from another city.
One part was rained upon,
And where it did not rain the part withered.
8 So two or three cities wandered to another city to drink water,
But they were not satisfied;
Yet you have not returned to Me,”
Says the Lord.9 “I blasted you with blight and mildew.
When your gardens increased,
Your vineyards,
Your fig trees,
And your olive trees,
The locust devoured them;
Yet you have not returned to Me,”
Says the Lord. (Amos 4:7-9)
Scoffers ignore what God has prophesied about weather and do not want to repent.
Hopefully, you have not been infected by their disregard for the words of Jesus and the prophecies in the Holy Bible.
Yet, most now will ignore weather changes and simply believe that weather changes all the time and the changes do not have to do with God or disobeying His laws.
However, the Bible shows that weird, severe, and odd weather patterns are part of the warning messages that God gives.
