The United States, Britain and Australia are working together to develop unmanned undersea vehicles as part of their trilateral AUKUS defence pact, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told reporters on Saturday.

AUKUS is a trilateral security partnership established in 2021 by Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. It focuses on countering China’s influence in the Indo-Pacific region by enhancing the three countries’ military capabilities through the deployment of nuclear-powered submarines, what is known as the “Pillar One” of the alliance.
The three countries also are cooperating to develop advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, cyber capabilities, and other undersea and defense systems — referred to as “Pillar Two.”

AUKUS is primarily aimed at containing China.
Not surprisingly, the Chinese oppose it, and its existence has also tended to upset the Europeans.

AUKUS sparking European military
In September 2021, US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a new military partnership called AUKUS. This announcement upset the French and the European Union, which is not part of it. Could AUKUS be another spark for the Europeans to develop their own joint military? What have European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and former German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel called for? Could having the Europeans increase their military capacity and technology and be dangerous? Is the European King of the North, also called the King of Assyria, prophesied to destroy the USA (Daniel 11:39) and its British-descended allies? What could stop that? Is national or personal repentance possible? Do the nations need Jesus or military alliances?

China believes, correctly, that the AUKUS group and its military plans are intended towards reducing China’s military influence in the Asia-Pacific region. China is interested in Australia and one day may very well control it.
That being said, it is not just China that is disturbed by AUKUS, much of Europe has been as well (see also AUKUS alliance; EU wants its own stronger military).
AUKUS is one of several USA moves away from Europe which is also getting Europe to wish to develop its own military–one independent of the USA.

By focusing too much on threats from China and almost always considering the Europeans as some type of allies, a Donald Trump Administration is currently not expected to reverse the Asian ‘pivot’ strategy. Unless he changes that, this pivot will help result in destruction of the USA. …
Back in 2009, I came across some interesting Chinese prophecies from the Tang Dynasty (7-10th century). Notice one Chinese prophecy might hint that it involves dividing Australia and New Zealand with Europe. It states:
Population mouth takes territories south of the Yangtze river. The capital is moved again. The two divide up the territories, of which each maintains and defends.[i]
This could be related to a deal that perhaps the Chinese will make in the future with Europe (there are some ancient Chinese prophecies that discuss arrangements with some from the West), as opposed to military conquest.
The Chinese, in reaction to a deal made by then Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Barack Obama, indicated that this and the expanded military cooperation between Australia and the USA is putting Australia at risk of attack by China.[ii]
China is now heavily invested in Australia and may argue that it has rights to the land. Furthermore, in recent years, the Chinese have been buying a lot of real estate in Australia, beyond purchases of mineral assets. China and Japan also have interests in New Zealand.
China may be granted lands like Australia in partial repayment for the debts that the USA owes it, as well as in full or partial payment for any debts Europe itself may incur with China (it is likely that China will loan money and/or increase investments in Europe).

So, that should make it clear that I do not believe that AUKUS will save Australia.
And yes, I believe that the focus of the USA and UK on China will result in them overlooking what will happen in Europe. And what is prophesied to occur to defeat the USA and its British-descended allies by a coming European leader (cf. Daniel 11:39).

While I do NOT believe that the “European Union is the new Soviet Union and Nazi Germany rolled into one,” it could be the sixth king of Revelation 17.

Could those looking for the Great Monarch miss the Beast and Antichrist according to Roman Catholic writer Paul Thigpen? Could the final Antichrist be an antipope? Is the the Mediterranean Sea the sea that the Beast of Revelation 13 rises from? How does the EU resemble the ‘Holy Roman Empire’? Could the EU be the sixth king of Revelation 17:10? The Bible shows that Europe will reorganize in Revelation 17:12-13 and give power to the Beast, the seventh king.
As the likely sixth king, the European Union (which started as a smaller group) is setting the stage for the rise of the seventh–which will be like the combination that Alex Jones warned about.
The Bible is clear that there are seven kings/kingdoms, plus a related eighth, which were prophesied:
9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. (Revelation 17:9-11)
The sixth does not seem to be Benito Mussolini which the old Worldwide Church of God asserted, for several reasons, including that Adolf Hitler was more in charge of Europe than Benito Mussolini ever was.
Either the first five kings were ancient, with Rome being the sixth–though that seems to be in conflict with scripture, or the first five have to do with the church-state alliance known as the Holy Roman Empire (even when not called that).
If they are related to the old Holy Roman Empire, it would seem in the 21st century, that the one that “is” which would be the sixth king, which also “is not,” could very well point to the European Union.
People of the 21st century would better relate with the EU being the one that “is” as opposed to Benito Mussolini of 80+ years ago.
The EU is not, however, the seventh king–but the EU is setting the stage for the coming reorganizations of Revelation 17:12-13.

The seventh king will rise up soon.
That religiously aligned leader, who will be supported by the final Antichrist, is prophesied to rise up in Europe.
He will be the Beast of the Sea.
He will be the seventh.
The ground work for his rise is being set by the European Union, whether or not it can be definitively considered as the sixth king–it certainly now is and looks to fit the prophecies in the Book of Revelation.
The AUKUS alliance will not prevent this, but may help the Anglo-American nations miss its rise until it is too late.
