The Bible promises the return of Jesus Christ at the sound of the last trumpet. 1 Thessalonians 4 and 1 Corinthians 15 reveal that the dead will be raised incorruptible, and those alive will be changed in a moment. At the great trumpet, Christ will intervene in world events, bringing an end to war and establishing the Kingdom of God. Until that day, we are called to comfort one another with these words and look forward with hope as we keep the Feast of Trumpets and live our daily lives in faith.
