The Continuing Church of God presents this week’s sermon by Mr. Steve Dupuie:
What do you want to be when you grow up? Many of us have been asked that question by our parents when we were younger. Some of may have wanted to be a doctor or an engineer or a mechanic or a home manager. Most of us would change our mind many times over when answering the question of what we wanted to be when we grew up.
...
But how many of us ever said, "when I grow up, I want to be a saint?" And yet, that's exactly what some of us have become. We become saints, not because we chose to become a saint, but because our Father in heaven called us to be a saint.
...
Now that we are called to be a saint, what do we do? How do we perfect our craft? Who teaches us how to become a saint? Can we become a better saint? What are the ultimate rewards of practicing the "craft" of sainthood? Just what does our Father have in store for those of us He has called to be saints?
...
1 Cor 2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." - 1 Cor 2:10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit
...
Now is the time to learn what we can do to perfect our calling. Now is the time to practice. The whole creation is waiting for you (Rom 8:21-23 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.)!
