Anne Catherine Emmerich Claimed to See Purgatory
Does the Church of Rome still believe in Limbo and Purgatory? Its two most recent pontiffs have cast doubts about both places. Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI taught against Limbo as an impediment for the Vatican's plans. It is alleged that Pope Francis does not believe in Purgatory, despite it being an official Church of Rome teaching. Were Limbo and Purgatory in the Bible? When were Limbo and Purgatory adopted by the Church of Rome? Could these teachings be cast aside for ecumenical unity with the Protestants and Eastern Orthodox? Does the Bible teach Limbo, Purgatory, or something else? Does the Bible teach that God will OFFER salvation to all? Dr. Thiel addresses these points and more in this sermonette.
