While Greco-Roman Catholics and Protestants acknowledge Pentecost of Acts 2, they do not seem to realize God's plan related to firstfruits and the harvest of the latter rain. Do you have to be called by God the Father to truly be a Christian? What did Jesus say? Is there a plan to save those who were not called, elected, and predestined in this age? How are Christians to make their calling and election sure? Did Jesus teach that it would be a little flock, not the majority, who would become part of the kingdom of God in this age? Are called Christians supposed to live as lights and ambassadors in this age? Are Christians to grow in knowledge, be doers, and support the work of God? Will those who have repented, been properly baptized, had hands laid upon them, and received the Holy Spirit be saved if they do not give up? Were people blinded in this age? Were people predestined to be lost like John Calvin taught? Can keeping the biblical Holy Days help us better understand God's plan of salvation? Was Jesus a firstfruit? Is this A or THE only day of salvation? Dr. Thiel addresses these matters in this Pentecost sermon.
