Pentecost and Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Jesus promised that a Comforter, the Holy Spirit, would be given after He left the earth. This was fulfilled in the 2nd chapter of the Book of Acts on the Day of Pentecost. How would the Holy Spirit convict the world of sin? What is sin? How about leading Christians into all truth? Who receives the Holy Spirit? Is calling Jesus "Lord" and doing things in His name enough to be a real Christian? Are Christians begotten by the Holy Spirit so that Jesus can begin to live His life in us? What do firstfruits have to do with Jesus and Christians? When is Jesus to be fully formed in us? What are aspects of God's plan of salvation that most Greco-Roman Catholics and Protestants do not understand? Will God offer salvation to everybody? What are the gifts of the Holy Spirit that Paul wrote of in Galatians 5 and 1 Corinthians 12? Are members individually to help the body of Christ collectively? What about love in 1 Corinthians 13? What about the prophecy from Joel that the Apostle Peter repeated on Pentecost in Acts 2:17-18? Has God been using dreams or any prophet in the 21st century? Did Herbert W. Armstrong and the old Worldwide Church of God teach that God would use dreams and prophets in our day? Should Christians believe the entire word of God or discount parts? Should we study the Bible, meditate, and pray? Are we to submit to God so that we can be more like Jesus and have Him fully formed in us after the resurrection? Dr. Thiel addresses these matters and more.
