John is believed to have written this book, also called a letter or epistle around 90 A.D. This is the first part of a three-part series by Dr. Thiel where he intends to go over every verse in 1, 2, & 3 John. Here he covers chapters 1-3 of 1 John. Topics include John as a source, walking in the light of truth, eternal life, Christians having sin, confessing sins, forgiveness of sins, walking as Jesus walked, the purpose of the commandments is love, the truth, Herbert W. Armstrong on 'What is sin?,' sin is the transgression of the law, practicing sin, begotten now, born again at the resurrection, not hating, supporting the poor & hungry, and abiding in His loving commandments.
