With world conditions being what they are; with the wars and rumors of war with the mushroom cloud of nuclear war hanging over our heads are you prepared?

Are prepping plans designed for the real world with elderly, ill, and young people?

Do you have a flashlight, batteries, a can of tuna fish, and a hand crank radio stuffed into your 50-pound bug-out bag? Does your grandmother have one too? How about your young son or daughter with chronic physical problems in need of regular prescription medicine? Do they have their bug out bag stuffed under their bed next to their Barbie doll or Darth Vader sword?

Are you really prepared? Or are you kidding yourself?

Are you prepared for this, which Jesus prophesied, "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened" (Matthew 24:21-22). In other scriptures, Jesus gives information on how to prepare (cf. Luke 21:36; Revelation 3:7-10).

Are ALL true Christians going to be protected? Or does Revelation 12:14-17 reveal two groups of believers, one group that is protected and the other which is subject to Satanic persecution?

What did God inspire the prophet Zephaniah to write about how the faithful in these times should prepare?

Do you want to be really prepared? Do you want you and your family to really be prepared for the worst? Then… Watch this video as Dr. Thiel shines the light of Biblical truth on fake vs. reality prepping. Through the use of scriptures Dr. Thiel makes clear the path to safety from the horrors of the great tribulation that is right now looming on the horizon.

TRANSCRIPT: PREPPING FOR REALITY

Transcript Prepping for Reality.docx

How much worse can it get?

Worse than it's ever been. Jesus said in Matthew 24, 21, there'll be great tribulation, such as has not been since beginning of the world this time. Nor ever shall be, unless those days are shortened, no flesh, including preppers, by the way, would be saved. But for the elect's sake, they will be.

Now, while some Americans will survive for a time what's coming, many are going to become slaves. Now, a lot are probably going to flee to bunkers in the mountains, et cetera. And that's actually talked about in Amos 3, but also in Lamentations, Jeremiah wrote, They pursued us on the mountains and lay wait for us in the wilderness. So even fleeing those kind of places isn't going to be sufficient. And most who aren't killed are going to be made slaves. And hiding in mountains might protect the few for a time, but not forever. Very few will make it. They're going to be pursued. Hence, that type of prepping plan is not biblically sound.

How should I prep for reality?

Do what Jesus said, Luke 21:36, Watch, pray always, you make kind of worthy escape, all these things will come to pass. And in Revelation 3, starting verse 7, to the church of Philadelphia, Jesus says, I know your works, I set you before an open door. Work to proclaim the gospel, do God's work. And verse 10, Because you kept my command to persevere, I'll keep you from the hour of trial that shall come upon the whole world to test those who dwell on it. But Jesus told his followers, watch, pray, support God's work, change enough to become worthy to escape these things. Physical protection from the coming hour of trial is possible to those who properly heed the word of God.

And Jesus clarified that he's specifically referring to protection for the Philadelphian Christians.

When you say Philadelphian Christians, is there any other type of Christian?

Well, there's false ones, but as far as true Christians, There are seven different types mentioned in Revelation. And according to Jesus, the bulk of the end time are going to be Laodicean Christians. Now, if you go to Revelation 12, pick up in verse 14, Jesus said, or the book of Revelation says, But the woman, the church, was given two wings of a great eagle, which she may fly into the wilderness to her place where she's nursed for a time, time, and half a time, three and a half years. That's only part of the church. Then with verse 17, the true Christians, that is, it says the dragon, the devil was enraged with the woman, the church. He went to make war of the rest of her offspring.

These are true Christians because they keep the commands of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. So two types of Christians are discussed there. One group that goes to the wilderness, which by the way, it's not heaven 'cause heaven's not a wilderness, and the rest who don't properly flee. And those who want to possibly be protected by God need to pay attention to his words through the prophet Zephaniah.

What did the prophet Zephaniah say?

God said to write down, gather yourselves together. Yes, gather together, O undesirable nation.

And when are they to gather together?

Verse two, before the decree is issued, or the day passes like chaff before the Lord's fierce anger comes upon you. For the day of the Lord. So this is going to happen before the start of the Great Tribulation. Some decree is going to be issued. The New Testament also tells us that we're supposed to gather together as we get closer to the end. 23, I'm going to read this from God's Word Translation. We should not stop Gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instead, we need to continue to encourage each other even more as we see the day of the Lord coming.

So is it these Philadelphian Christians that are supposed to either continue or start to gather together?

Yes. Zephaniah talked about a peculiar undesirable nation, and Jesus said the world hates us. And Peter wrote in 1 Peter 2 that we're A peculiar people, an undesirable nation. And I want to read something from the Apostle Paul, 2 Thessalonians 2, starting verse 1. Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you not to be shaken in mind or word as if the day of the Lord had already come, day of Christ had come. Well, that shows us that the preppers were wrong, but also we're still telling us to gather together, we see this in the Old Testament, we see this in the New Testament.

Now, how do we know Zephaniah is talking about Christians?

Verse three, Zephaniah two, Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth who have upheld his justice, seek righteousness, although God's commandments of righteousness, Psalm 119, 172, and seek humility. This is talking about Philadelphia Christians. They are humble enough to accept the church authority, even by a low level Prophet in absence of a clear apostle, they're humble enough not to think they should remain independent like many have done so.

Now, why does God tell them to gather together?

Well, here's an interesting reason. It may be that you'll be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger.

Interestingly, the Hebrew words translated Zephaniah means Yahweh hides or God has hidden, okay?

And by the way, the old worldwide Church of God taught that Zephaniah too had to do with protection for those spiritually ready back in 1979.

Why do you say Zephaniah has to do with Philadelphian Christians?

Because they're the only ones who are going to gather together as they should. And it's only to the Philadelphians that Jesus promises to protect from the coming hour of trial, which he also called the Great Tribulation. Philadelphians are the ones who will respond to the decree. Tell us more about this decree that will be issued. It's going to be a decree that Philadelphians will listen to and then flee.

When's it going to be issued?

Jesus' words, Matthew 24:15. Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in a holy place, whoever reads Whoever reads, let them understand. So that's about when it's going to be done.

What happens next?

Jesus says, verse 16, let those in Judea flee in the mountains who's on the housetop don't get anything out of his house, et cetera.

Woe to those who are pregnant or nursing in those days?

And pray that your flight not be in the winter or on the Sabbath. Obviously talking about Sabbatarian Christians at the end time, but then there'd be great tribulation, et cetera.

Anyway, why is there going to be a decree?

Apparently to make it easier for people to believe what Jesus said to better understand that Matthew 24:15, Daniel 9:27 B, Daniel 11:31 has been fulfilled.

Well, who's going to make this decree?

Well, let's go to Amos chapter 3 verse 7. Surely the Lord God does nothing unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets. A lion has roared,

Who will not fear?

The Lord God has spoken.

Who can but prophesy?

So the prophet may make the decree personally and or pass it on to others in the church to make this.

Anyway, who's the only church of God in the 21st century that teaches all of this?

The Continuing Church of God, which is the organization that I believe best represents the Philadelphian remnant in this Laodicean era. If you're not with the group that's leading the final phase of the work, you're not going to fly or flee when it's the time.

Anyway, remember, God's word through Zephaniah admonishes God's people to gather together before the decree is issued. Of course, most are going to scoff at this. And most churches of God don't have anyone they consider a prophet. And those other than us, which do, have prophets that have been proven to be false. You're touching again on prepping.

Could you give us some verses that give us some direction on how to prepare?

Well, I partially quoted Jesus' words in Luke 21, but let's go back there. To be careful that the daily cares of this life, make it so you don't see what's happening. Verse 36, Watch therefore and pray always you may be counted worthy. To escape all these things that will come to pass and stand before the Son of Man. Watch and pray always. This comes from Jesus, but many scoff at prophecy for different reasons. Yet being a prophetic scoffer is a mistake. Yet Jesus is telling people something to do in order to prep. Jesus realized that people didn't pay attention to prophecy and to pray always. They wouldn't take the step to become worthy to escape. God uses prophecy as a motivator to people. He used that

For example, for Jonah and the warning at Nineveh, and they repented. Now Jesus taught rough times are going to come. 7-8, you read about nation's gonna rise against nation. There'll be earthquakes, famines, troubles. Those are beginning of sorrows. Then he said later, the great tribulation is gonna come.

Look, we all should be prepared for temporary emergencies and situations. But physical prepper plans for what's going to hit the United States, they're not the answer. Neither is pretending that prophesied disasters aren't going to come and you don't need to worry yourself about it. You know, it says in Proverbs 22, verse three, a prudent man foresees evil and hides himself while the simple pass on and are punished. So ignoring the prophecy, saying, oh, God's going to take care of me if I don't do what he says.

People think they're doing what God says but they but they don't gather together with the Philadelphian brethren that they're not and Jesus also said uh Matthew 24 starting in verse 43 but know this if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come he'd have watched verse 44 therefore also be ready for the son of man's coming at the hour you do not expect who then is the faithful and wise servant who the master will make ruler of his household Blessed is a servant whom his master, when he comes, you will find so doing. Most will not be supporting the Philadelphian portion of church work of God as they should.

The plain truth is most Christians will not be protected from what's coming. You can verify that yourself by reading Revelation 3:7-22 and Revelation 12:14-17.

We need to put our confidence in God, not bunkers. Hiding in mountains is not gonna save many. You know, there's a lot of false and fake prepping. By the way, there's no place in the United States is gonna be as biblical place of safety, nor Canada for that matter. Now, none of this means you shouldn't have any emergency supplies. Remember the ant, Old Testament says. But Jesus taught in Matthew 6 that God knows all your physical needs. And if you'll seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, God will provide your needs.

While having supplies for emergency is supported by scripture, the idea of preparing for prepping physically to survive things like the great tribulation is simply not.

We are told to gather together as Philadelphian Christians.

To be carnally minded is death, according to Romans 8:6, but that's what most of the preppers are doing.

We need to engage in real, true, and spiritually reliable prepping.
