Are leaders in Europe taking steps consistent with the rise of ’666′? Notice the following:

Nations vow better intelligence sharing to halt terror attacks

THE HAGUE: Nations must share intelligence to stop extremist groups slipping across borders and using the Internet to plan attacks, ministers insisted on Monday (Jan 11) as they sought concrete commitments to halt intel failures.
In the wake of the Nov 13 Paris attacks allegedly masterminded by a Belgian-born extremist, Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders admitted more must be done.
“Intelligence services must get used to not only collecting information, but to sharing it,” he told AFP on the sidelines of a conference gathering more than 50 countries to discuss how to thwart terror groups.
“We are doing it more and more among European services, but there is still work to be done,” he acknowledged at the conference hosted by The Netherlands.
Held as part of the Global Counter Terrorism Forum (GCTF) and the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL, the talks were taking place nearly two months after the Paris attacks which killed 130 people. And they come as The Netherlands begins its six-month rotating presidency of the European Union.
“What we face today is terrorism 2.0. Like a virus, it adapts to survive and becomes more resilient,” Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders told the opening of the talks. … ”Do we trust each other enough to share information, and are we willing to work together?” he asked. “This means sharing information and data” as well as threat analyses, he said. http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/world/nations-vow-better/2416618.html
The threat of terrorism is causing steps to be taken to accelerate more governmental controls over the internet.
Why be concerned about all of this internet control?
Because it shows that the nations of the world are getting closer to a time when certain biblical prophecies will be fulfilled:
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18, NKJV)
23 ‘And in the latter end of their kingdom, about the perfecting of the transgressors, stand up doth a king, fierce of face, and understanding hidden things; (Daniel 8:23, Young’s Literal Translation)
European governments are more and more also looking into going ‘cashless’ (see M&M & CNN: European and other governments pushing towards cashless society where 666 can operate), which means that almost all payments would be traceable electronically.
It will likely take computers aided with artificial intelligence to aid in the fulfillment of the scriptures in Revelation 13:15-18, as well as cyber-spying/monitoring. I do believe that cyber monitoring will be used by the European Beast, King of the North, 666 power.
This type of surveillance could not have happened during the time of the Apostle John as there was no real way to monitor many financial transactions then (despite the fact that ‘preterists’ believe this was fulfilled almost 2000 years ago, see also The Dangerous Rise of Preterists). The same was true for all the centuries that followed until the late 20th and now the 21st century. But now not only does the technology exist to monitor most financial transactions, the political will is there as well.
We are getting closer to the time of 666.
