Is the teaching of deification a new or cultic idea? Does the Bible teach it? Did early Christians teach it? Did Greco-Roman saints teach it? Did Martin Luther teach it? What about Ignatius and Theophilus of Antioch? Does it have anything to do with the family of God or the Kingdom of God? Are humans intended to rule the universe?

Jesus gave a message to the Philadelphia portion of the Church of God in Revelation 3. On December 17, 1983, the late Herbert W. Armstrong gave a sermon titled, "The Mission of the Philadelphia Church Era." In that sermon, he went over the mission of the Philadelphian portion of the Church of God as well as 18 truths he believed that God had him restore that the Sardis era no longer had. In this sermon, Dr. Thiel goes provides quotes from Herbert Armstrong's sermon, as well as each of the 18 truths.

Did early Christians believe that Jesus would return 6000 years after Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden? if so, have we reached that 6000 years? If not, approximately what year is it? Are the Jews correct that it is 5778 anno mundi? If not, why is their counting off? What about the Seder Olam and 'conventional chronology'? What about Archbishop James Ussher?

Is the annual Feast of Tabernacles something that Christians should observe? Did Jesus and the Apostle Paul keep it? Can it only be kept in Jerusalem? What do the Bible and Jewish sources teach? Did early Christians keep this festival in the second and later centuries? What did Methodius of Olympus teach? What does the Feast of Tabernacles represent?

The Day of Atonement is part of God's plan. It pictures that Jesus paid the penalty for sins and that Satan will bear guilt for his actions. What does it mean to 'afflict your soul'? Why do many connect this with fasting? If Christians should fast, is drinking water okay as part of a biblical fast?

Starting on May 13, 1917, a Lady made visits to Fatima, Portugal. She was seen by three children (Lucia de Santos, Francisco Marto, and Jacinta Marto) once per month for six months. The Lady of Fatima predicted that something would happen on October 13, 1917 that would get all to believe. What happened in the sky that day was called "the miracle of the sun." Tens of thousands reportedly saw it. Does this sign prove that this was Jesus' mother Mary? Do the messages given by the Lady prove or disprove her identity? Can you be certain? Are there future ramifications of any of this?

The Feast of Trumpets is the fourth of the biblical Holy Days and it is in the late Summer or early Fall of the year. Jews call it "Rosh Hashana." What relevance does it have for Christians? How does it and prophecies in the Old Testament tie in with the New Testament.

Throughout history, many humans have wanted a prosperous society free of crime.  Some have attempted to establish utopian communities.  Is such a society possible?  Will humans do this?  Will it take the return of Jesus Christ to make this happen?  

Most who profess Christ do not keep the Holy Days in the Bible. Why is that? Should they? What does the Bible teach? The Fall Holy Days are the Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles, and the Last Great Day? Why do some think that they should be observed by Christians? Did early Christians keep the Fall Holy Days?

What are the times of the Gentiles? Have there been more than one? What do Protestants, Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, and the Church of God teach about the time of the Gentiles? Is that the time for the full number of Gentiles to hear the gospel? Does it have anything to do with Israel? What about 604 B.C. and 721-718 B.C.?
