No One to Date? Teen Q&A? Engagement? 2nd Marriage?

This is the second part of a two-part sermon on dating for Christians. In it, Dr. Thiel covers subjects such as what do you do if there is no one to date, if Christians can date or marry someone not part of the Continuing Church of God, dating for marriage, and pre-engagement counseling. He also provides answers to questions that teens have had about dating. He goes into the the use of 'social media, avoidance of trolling, not sexting, and some other matters somewhat unique to the 21st century.

The Art of Christian Dating

Dating is a key to success in marriage. Should Christians have different dating standards than those who are not real Christians? How are men and women different? Can people fall in love? What should people do on a date? What about getting physical? Who should pay for the date? What should a man expect from a date? What should a woman expect from a date?

Paul: Apostle to the Gentiles

Do you know much about Saul who became Paul--like even what those names mean? Saul was a tent-maker from Tarsus who persecuted Christians before Jesus had him struck with blindness on the road to Damascus. What did Paul teach about the Ten Commandments? Did he teach they were "nailed to the cross" as some claim? Did he keep the biblical Holy Days? Did he teach keeping the Holy Days and obedience to God to the Gentiles?

Does God have faith in humans?

Jesus said He wanted His followers to be perfect as His Father in heaven was perfect. But perfection is not something that humans attain in this life. Do converted Christians sin? Does God have faith in humans? Does God's Holy Day plan reflect any of this? This is a message intended to be for the Seventh Day of Unleavened Bread.

Leaven and Sin

What is leaven? What, according to the Bible, is sin? Did Jesus indicate that leaven was like sin? What are some of the similarities between leaven and sin? Are the Days of Unleavened Bread just some practice of the ancient Hebrews or were they also enjoined upon God's people in the New Testament? Did early Christians keep the Days of Unleavened Bread?

This is the fifth part of a multi-part sermon series on the Book of Exodus. In this sermon, Dr. Thiel begins with the thirteenth chapter and covers all of the verses through the end of the fifteenth chapter. He also mentions come ancient historical documents, including the Ipuwer Papyrus and Historicae Philippicae, that support the biblical account. admonishes people not to be wise in their own eyes like Pharaoh Amenhotep II was.

This is the second of a multi-part sermon series on the Book of Exodus. In this sermon, Dr. Thiel begins with the fifth chapter and covers all of the verses through the end of the seventh chapter. He discusses lessons to be learned from actions of Moses, the Israelites, and the Egyptians. Related New Testament passages are also cited. He explains probably why the rod of Aaron was turned into a serpent and devoured those of Pharaoh's magicians.

Wikipedia claims that the Exodus is a Jewish legend that has no basis in historical fact. Is that true? If there was an exodus from Egypt by the Hebrews, was it in the 15th or 13th century BCE? He goes over Moses' early life and that God has used leaders that did not think they had what it took to lead.
